What we are looking for:

BC Building Science (BCBS) is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our team.

You will play a vital role in supporting our New Construction division by assisting our Contract Manager, Project Managers and Principals with a wide array of project and contract management duties.

What we expect from you:

Degree in business administration, commerce, law, economics, or related discipline.
Experience in engineering or construction services & contract management is preferred.
Knowledge of BC Building Code and VBBL related to envelope and energy performance is an asset.
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with a proactive mindset. Collaborative team player, creative thinker, and detail oriented.

What you are going to do:

Perform comprehensive contract management and administration, including project initiation and documentation, monitoring budgets, schedules, and deliverables, as well as handling change orders, billing, and accounts receivables.
Assist in development of fee proposals and respond to RFQ.
Ensure BCBS fulfills its contractual obligation and receives timely payments based on successful deliverables upon project completion.
Provide internal support to uphold consistency in services and records, ensuring alignment with the project's contractual terms and with the company's manuals and procedures.
Establish and strengthen relationships with prospective and current clients, as well as other pertinent stakeholders, to foster longterm partnerships and business growth.
Analyze project performance and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Perform other jobrelated duties and impromptu side project(s) as assigned.
