We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking General Laborer to join our construction team specializing in excavation and sewer projects.

As a General Laborer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the successful completion of construction projects by performing various physical tasks and assisting skilled tradespeople.

Responsibilities:

Work under the direct supervision of a foreman or the client to ensure project objectives are met.
Perform physical labor on construction sites, including digging trenches, carrying heavy materials, etc.
Assist skilled tradespeople, such as operators and pipelayers, with their tasks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and equipment are properly stored.
Follow safety precautions and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Adhere to project schedules and deadlines, completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
Communicate effectively with team members, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
Perform other duties as required to support the overall success of the construction project.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 years experience as a Laborer or in a similar role.
Physical fitness and the ability to perform strenuous tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various weather conditions.
Familiarity with excavation and sewer construction processes is a highly preferred.
Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. This includes adhering to safety protocols, identifying potential hazards, and taking appropriate measures to mitigate risks.
