Marathon Underground is currently seeking full-time Geotechnical/Environmental Drillers and Assistants to join our growing team in South-Western Ontario including the Greater Toronto area

Driller:

13 years experience with vertical drilling operations, experience with CME55/75/850 or equivalent
Experience with Diedrich D50/D70
Confident operating and maintaining Geotechnical drill rigs
Employing rock coring, mud rotary, and auger drilling techniques
Developing and maintaining boring logs and daily reports
Well Drilling License is considered strong asset

Driller's Assistant:

Minimum of 1year experience with drilling operations and 1year general construction experience
Collecting disturbed and undisturbed soil samples and rock samples and data at various depth intervals
Recording basic material descriptions, depth of material, changes, water level measurements and results of downhole tests

All positions

DZ/AZ license and a clean drivers abstract is considered a strong asset.
A valid driver's license is
required for all positions
Ability to work evenings, weekends and shift work as required
Job sites are outside and operate yearround. Must be willing to work in all weather conditions
Ability to lift 50+ pounds frequently throughout the day
