We are currently seeking a full-time licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Vancouver, BC Base. Reporting to the Engineer Lead Hand and/or the Base Engineer, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AME) are responsible for the safe servicing and repair or modification and maintenance of Central Mountain Air's aircraft and aircraft components.

    Job Responsibilities


    1. Conduct planned and unplanned maintenance procedures on our fleet of aircraft in accordance with the Canadian Aviation Regulations and company procedures
    2. Perform and document inspection of engines, structural, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
    3. Troubleshoot structural, mechanical, hydraulic and engines to identify and repair defects
    4. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, manuals, instructions, etc.
    5. Inspect, service, and maintain spare parts inventory
    6. Complete all maintenance-related paperwork fully and accurately
    7. Assist with the general maintenance and servicing of hangar equipment and facilities
    8. Maintain an organized, clean and safe work environment
    9. Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements

    • Transport Canada Certified AME License M1 or M2
    • Ability to legally work in Canada
    • Must be able to obtain and retain a Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC)
    • Flexibility and willingness to work irregular hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Able to perform well under pressure, comfortable working in confined spaces and at heights
    • Safety orientated
    • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs.
