07:30am to 4:30pm

What to Expect

SUMMARY:

The OS&D Clerk is responsible for investigating and reporting all overages, shortages, and damages from drivers and agents and reporting the results of these findings and investigations on a daily basis.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Complete all OSD operations
Ensure freight is scanned accurately and daily.
Ensure freight is staged in appropriate area.
Ensure all unlabeled freight is reported daily
Ensure all freight has been inducted into OS&D manager.
Ensure all damaged freight is inspected and processed.
Ensure a safe and efficient working area.
Ensure all freight is kept organized and easily accessible.
Investigate reported OS&D shipments across Canada using the following methods:
Check computer for information and/or special shipment instructions.
Find out if a sub has been cut.
Check for Proof of Delivery.
Find out if it is a duplicate.
Find out if the shipment is on a later flight or trailer using split shipment report.
Check original waybill for cubes or if account has specialist on site, consult on site.
Communicate the results of the investigation to the branches or daily agents.
Any additional duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
Minimum 1 year experience in operations
Good written and oral communication skills
Bilingual (English and French) is required
