The Opportunity:


The Research Assistant works within the Research Team of the Department of Anesthesia and the members of the Endometriosis and Chronic Pelvic Pain Clinic (E&CPP).

This consists of Principal Investigators from the E&CPP clinic and a Research Manager from the Department of Women's and Obstetric Anesthesia.

The responsibilities of the position include assistance with establishing a network of researchers, clinicians and educators to develop collaborative research programs to support and promote women's health focused on pelvic pain and endometriosis.

Major Responsibilities

  • Assists in the planning and implementation of a REDCap database
  • Assists with environmental scans to make connections with like organizations
  • Assists with coordination and facilitation of meetings among research partners to design relevant interdisciplinary research studies.
  • Assists with statistical presentation and reporting of progress
  • Assists in the preparation of academic funding submissions

Hours of Work:

8:00am - 4:00pm


Your Qualifications:


  • Research (thesis)based Master's degree in a related discipline
  • Strong report writing skills
  • Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong adherence to professionalism and ethical conduct
  • Ability to work well with others
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office Tools
  • Applied research experience with human participants an asset
  • Experience with statistical analysis software an asset
  • Experience with REDCap an asset
  • Competencies in other languages an asset.
