The Civil Aftermarket group aims to keep flight simulators up to date so that they are at the cutting edge of the various aeronautical improvements that the industry offers.

Your responsibilities:


  • Advise the Group Leader during project/issues assignment activities with respect to identifying the required technical skills and development opportunities.
  • Support project staff in investigating anomalies and resolving them according to objectives.
  • Keep the Group Leader and the Technical Leader informed of the progress of projects/anomalies and the overall performance of employees.
  • Monitor the technical development of the employees working on the project and recommend and implement tools and training to prepare them to perform project/anomalies resolution tasks with the support of the Technical Leader.
  • Assist project staff in creating presentations for the technical reviews (ex: PDR, SBDR, CDR), customer communications (ex: CDR, FSB) and technical postmortem.
  • Actively participate in key project meetings (ex: Kickoff, SBDR, CDR) and improvement meetings (ex: CONQ, CARB, postmortem).
  • In collaboration with the employee assigned to the project or anomaly, identify the technical risks and roadblocks and quantify their impact on the budget and schedule.
  • Validate and support the definition of the work plan, the creation of the task list and the assessment of the required effort in the monitoring tool (e.g. Jira).
  • Act as the first technical point of contact for the project team in all matters relating to the technical execution of projects/anomaly resolution.
  • Act as an ambassador for the various existing processes and procedures while recommending improvements.
  • Oversee the various reference solutions while recommending improvements.
  • Provide technical support for sales activities in coordination with the Technical Leader for either projects or services.
  • Act as an ambassador of health and safety best practices and propose improvements.
  • Perform other related duties as required.
  • Excellent management of priorities and multiple projects.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Ability to solve multiple problems.
  • Ability to communicate and make yourself understood (verbally and in writing).
  • Ability to provide explanations and teach best practices, procedures and work tools.
  • Ability to motivate colleagues to achieve results.
  • A good knowledge of market trends, best practices and the latest innovations.
  • Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts and references for the team's benefit.
  • Bilingualism (French and English).
