The Home2 Suites by Hilton Montréal near the Montréal airport is seeking a qualified Night Auditor to join its team.

We're looking for an ambitious, hardworking professional who loves to crunch numbers in between responding to guests' needs.

The Auditor will be responsible for all EOD accounting functions and will need to communicate with the management team to ensure the satisfaction of our guests.

The ideal applicant should be capable of working autonomously with no one to assist him or her with basic functions, such as checking guests in and out, reconciling accounts, communicating with housekeeping and taking initiative for necessary tasks.

A flexible schedule and a willingness to work overtime when necessary are essential.

Responsibilities:

Greet guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
Perform all guest checkin and checkout procedures
Accommodate guest requests
Resolve customer complaints and problems calmly and effectively
Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
Monitor office supplies and place orders when necessary
Maintain a clean and neat front desk area
Perform Bookkeeping Duties
Audit and balance reports from the day shifts
Verify that all EOD work has been performed by other departments
Run EOD computer functions so they are complete by the end of the shift
Prepare guest bills for nextday checkouts and process reservation cards
Balance cash drawers and record receipts

REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work in a multitasking, fast paced environment
Demonstrated strong customer service skills
Taskdriven individual
Previous hospitality experience preferred
Diploma in Hospitality or related courses an asset
Strong communication skills in English and French, both written and verbal essential
Ability to work all shifts, including weekends, evenings and holidays
