Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

Vacuum, cleaning, and wet moping carpets and floor duties.
Cleaning, disinfecting and dusting all surfaces.
Empty, clean, and disposing of trash.
Clean wash washrooms, mirrors, and sinks.
Makeup beds and change linens.
Tidy up rooms.
Wash windows as scheduled.
Sort, wash, load, and unload laundry, and sort, fold and put away clean laundry.
Operate mechanized cleaning equipment.
Maintain all cleaning equipment and materials in a safe and sanitary working condition.
Monitor and report necessary domestic repairs and replacements.
Wash dishes and clean the kitchen according to agreed hygiene standards.
Restock room supplies.
Check all appliances in rooms are in working order.
Cook lunch and prepare snacks.
Help with decoration duties.
Help with all functioning.
Follow all center's safety and security procedures.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.

Abilities and skills:

Physical stamina and mobility including the ability to reach, kneel and bend.
Ability to lift, push and pull required load (usually about 30lbs).
Attention to detail.
