    Invoke Studios is currently seeking skilled individuals to form a Core Team for a new AAA multiplayer game set in the enchanting universe of D&D using the Unreal Engine.

    Job Description

    • Architect, develop, and maintain backend systems for online multiplayer gameplay.
    • Ensure systems can support high player traffic and offer smooth gameplay experiences.
    • Implement network communication protocols for real-time interactions and secure player data.
    • Establish security measures to maintain fair play and safeguard against cheating.
    • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize online services.
    • Collaborate with team members to integrate backend systems with gameplay features.
    • Document system architecture and processes to enhance teamwork and knowledge sharing.
    Ideally, what You'll Bring

    • Minimum of 7 years of backend development experience, preferably in the video game industry.
    • Proficiency in programming languages like C++, C#, Go, Rust.
    • Strong understanding of network protocols, client-server architecture, and socket programming.
    • Hands-on experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
    • Knowledge of Unreal Engine is a bonus.
    • Familiarity with security best practices and anti-cheating techniques in online games.
    • Ability to troubleshoot complex problems and deliver effective solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills in French and English.
    • Passion for video games and a drive to create immersive online gaming experiences.
