Summary


The expectation of this position is an employee that performs their duties and responsibilities in an efficient and effective manner.

Furthermore, the expectation is to perform these duties while working as a part of a team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Effectively and efficiently processing all onboarding paperwork; including seasonal employee contracts.
  • Ensures file audits and file documentation for culinary department are completed; administers and coordinates completion of missing documentation.
  • Organizes and prepares job specific training for the Culinary department; including tracking, filing and summarizing the data. Summaries are to be provided on a monthly basis to the Culinary Management Team.
  • Inputs Culinary schedule into Blueforce system, as provided and directed by culinary management; communicates scheduling or changes in scheduling with staff as directed. May involve coordination with premium department in respect to labor budgets for catering BEO's.
  • Effectively and efficiently processing employee forms as needed, such as: address changes and first aid reports.
  • Verifies paper timesheets against Blueforce daily, and updates declining balance accordingly including: tracking, filing, and summarizing the data. Summaries are to be provided to the Culinary Management Team, on a weekly basis. Issues of concern are to be reported at the time they arise.
  • Maintain, organize, and distribute department pay stubs.
  • Liaise with employees regarding payroll concerns, and coordinate payroll adjustments within a timely fashion for department employees as needed.
  • Administers, updates, and audits employee contact list; filtering through changes to timesheets and scheduling.
  • Administers signage as needed or directed.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate with managers and coworkers to effectively accomplish goals.
  • Provides administrative support, and other tasks as delegated by manager.

Physical Demands

  • Frequent periods of either sitting or standing may occur; employees are encouraged to stretch as needed.
  • May have the occasional requirement to lift or carry items. Proper lifting technique is a must.
  • Frequent use of stairs is required; elevator accessibility is limited to accommodating clients and staff with mobility and accessibility needs.
  • Stadium environment is a larger site, and tends to involve higher physical demands on event days.
  • Sensory Attention: this environment is a noisy loud environment on event days.

Language Skills

  • French is considered an asset; but is not mandatory.

Qualifications

  • Must have completed or be currently enrolled in postsecondary education in any of the following fields: hospitality, tourism, management, human resources, business, business administration, or a related field.
  • Must be bondable, and pass an employer administered background check.
  • Must be able to demonstrate moderate computer skills in the Microsoft Office suite, and general computer literacy.
  • Smart Serve certification is considered an asset.
