The Opportunity:
At IMP Solutions, we provide IT products, and IT and business consulting services to our clients across Canada. We are searching for Service Desk Associate to join our Managed Services team in Halifax, NS.

What You Will Do:
- Serve as the frontline technical support. Answer questions and resolve basic computer problems in an expedient manner; troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network connectivity related problems
- Provide excellent customer service by taking ownership of reported enduser issues including; contact customers upon receipt of a ticket, validate the priority of the issue, schedule service within the desired time frame, provide updates to clients accordingly and properly record/categorize/update all client incidents and requests in ticketing system
- Setup, configure, test, and maintain enduser PC's, monitors, docking devices, printers, and multifunction devices within established service level agreements
- Follow standard Service Desk procedures; logs all help desk interactions; effectively use help desk software; escalate more complex, time consuming issues to the next Tier support or thirdparty vendor; provide quality and thorough documentation
- Understand processes in ConnectWise by completing assigned training materials and blueprints on the ConnectWise University

What You Need to Succeed:
- 1+ years of Service Desk, Desktop Support or Information Technology Systems experience
- Post secondary education in computer science or a related field. Equivalent combination of education and experience considered
- Diagnostic skills of technical issues. Understand support tools, techniques, and how technology is used to provide services
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal and active listening), interpersonal skills and the ability to perform professionally in a fastpassed environment
- Detail oriented, organized, excellent time management, and multitasking skills
- Customer focused
- Patient, approachable, and able to adapt quickly to change
