Description

Maplesoft Group is currently seeking a Project Manager - Level 3 for our Federal Government client.

The following responsibilities are associated with the "Statement of Work" but are not

limited to:
Activities

Manage the deliverables of several project team members to ensure successful delivery of project elements.
Liaise with other departments and IT Security to ensure that project deliverables are scheduled, and resources are assigned.
Manage the project during the development, implementation, and operational startup by developing a capacity plan to ensure that resources are available and that the project is developed and is fully operational within previously agreed time, cost, and performance parameters.
Formulate problem statements; establish procedures for the development and implementation of significant, new, or modified project elements to solve these problems, and obtains approval thereof.
Define and document the objectives for the project; determine budgetary requirements, determine appropriate composition of the team, roles and responsibilities and terms of reference for the project team.
Report progress of the project on an ongoing basis and at scheduled points in the life cycle.
Meet with stakeholders and other project managers to outline encountered problems in a comprehensive manner for the purpose of finding solutions.
Prepare plans, charts, tables, and diagrams to assist in analyzing or displaying problems; work with a variety of project management tools.
Prepare and obtain required Project signoff.

Work Location and Travel Requirements

All work will be provided within the National Capital Region (NCR) either on location/premises or the Contractor's location/premises, when approved by the Project Authority

The following will apply:

Secret and classified work MUST be conducted on locations / premises using approved IT equipment.
Protected B work IS ONLY ALLOWED to be conducted at the contractor's location / premise at the discretion of the project authority using approved IT equipment.
Unclassified work at the contractor's location / premise is at the discretion of the Project Authority.
