How you will make an impact:

As a valued member of our team, you will build positive and collaborative relationships throughout the hearing journey for both the clients we service and the teams you will work with.

Reporting to our Clinic Manager/Regional Manager, your first-class service of delivering excellent client care will be demonstrated as you perform the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Complete audiological assessments
  • Hearing instrument evaluations and followup
  • Hearing instrument fittings and dispensing
  • Hearing instrument rechecks
  • Assistive Listening Device recommendations
  • Cerumen management
  • Client followup
  • Counselling and Aural Rehabilitation
  • Individual and group aural rehabilitation
  • Diagnostic testing for an ENT (if applicable)

Professional Duties

  • Collaboration in development of best practice guidelines and other care protocols
  • Maintain professional credentials and continued education
  • Supervise or mentor students and new staff

Hearing Healthcare Centre Regional Support Duties

  • Presentations to community groups in HHC region
  • Participation in Company marketing initiatives

What you will need

  • Master's Degree in Audiology or HIS Certification
  • Registered and in good standing with applicable Provincial College of Speech and Language Pathologists
  • For Audiologists only
  • Registered member and in good standing with applicable professional association
  • For Hearing Practitioners only
  • Interest and/or experience with hearing instrument dispensing
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collegial team environment
