Department Overview

  • Global Operations and Business Services provide critical infrastructure services that support and/or control the trading, investment and corporate banking functions of TD Securities. Payments & Correspondent Banking Services (PCBS) Change Delivery is a rapidly evolving and dynamic place to work for highly motivated professionals looking to make an impact. We are looking for individuals who will help us shape the Future of Payments and continue to build TD's presence and influence within the industry. We are responsible for the delivery of large enterprise and industry's Payment Modernization Programs including regulatory, cyber security, Wire Payment product, SWIFT, Correspondent Banking Services related projects for TD global regions. Our projects delivery ensures sound technology infrastructure that supports over $5 Trillion worth of payments daily and process approximately 6 million transactions annually.

  • Act as the change agent, identify and incorporate process optimization/enhanced controls where possible as part of change delivery
  • Act as conduit/coordinator/facilitator bringing in appropriate partners/ expertise on key initiatives
  • Execute on critical projects and strategic special initiatives within a defined functional area that may require broader partnership across TDS and/or other TD enterprise functions.
  • Enhance management decision making on policies, processes, products and services based on insights generated from analytics and reporting to advance the operating model / processes and elevate service quality.
  • Lead workstream deliverables and manages timelines to deliver, within broader projects/programs/initiatives
  • Work with broad guidelines/policies and independently performs tasks from endtoend
  • Identify and contribute to problem resolution by taking a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Exercise judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Understand business context when providing guidance on TD's change methodology and framework(s) to external stakeholders
  • Lead and direct stakeholders to assess and resolve issues under tight timelines
  • Lead test planning, preparation and execution activities are completed within target timelines.
  • Lead and contribute to implementation business verification script.
  • Facilitate the implementation of policies/processes and/or initiatives to meet functional objectives
  • Promptly identify, notify, escalate, monitor issues, and recommend solutions.
  • Participate fully as a member of the team; support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork.
  • Act as a brand champion who contributes to the success of the team by continuously enhancing knowledge/expertise in own team and participate in knowledge transfer within team and business unit

Job Requirements

  • Good leadership skills and ability to engage stakeholders from across TDS to articulate critical issues for escalation and decision
  • Ability to collaborate with others and a proven ability to make an impact
  • Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions.
  • Solid knowledge of change management principles, industry best practices, lines of businesses supported, project management, organization practices, business culture (s) and business transformation.
  • Knowledge of project/program support, planning and implementation
  • Good presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to develop meaningful and succinct presentations to positively influence strategy and decisions
  • Sound analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and 'think outside of the box'
  • Highly motivated individual with a proven track record to deliver results
