The Role


Our company is seeking a Property Information Collector in Calgary to assist our Insurance Appraisal team in site inspections and preparing reports.

This is an entry level role for a recent graduate or an experienced professional with an interest in real estate.

An educational background in business, commerce, construction, architectural or building sciences is preferred.


Required Education

  • A Diploma or Bachelor's Degree

Responsibilities

  • Perform onsite property inspections, photograph properties, measure specifications, and quantifying
  • Coordinate and deal with various municipalities to collect plans/blueprints
  • Complete building takeoffs using the company software
  • Ensure the team and client needs are met in a timely manner
  • Perform other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, a dependable motor vehicle with proof of adequate insurance for business use is mandatory, as travel throughout the province is required
  • UBC-AIC Post-Graduate Certificate Program in Real Property Valuation (PGCV) is considered an asset
  • Proof of vaccination required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT), Outlook, and similar platforms
  • Strong analytical and arithmetical skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality and accuracy
  • Selfmotivated with ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
