The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success.

We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.


Summary:


The Bell Canada Pension Group is looking for an actuarial analyst in order to provide consulting services to a clientele comprised of business units from Bell Canada and its affiliates.

This team is responsible for the design, the administration, the communications, the registration and the actuarial valuation in respect of Bell Canada pension plans.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Actuarial valuations
  • Collaboration with the external administrator for special projects and other administrative tasks
  • Mandates related to asset liability management
  • Pension committees' presentations
  • Various tasks related to other savings plans including capital accumulation plans

Critical Qualifications:


  • University degree in actuarial sciences
  • Global knowledge of pension
  • Ability to analyze results and provide recommendations
  • Ability to work effectively in a fastpace environment with the ability to prioritize tasks and information effectively
  • Bilingual; In the course of their duties, this person will be required to interact with French & English speaking stakeholders across Canada

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Minimum of two years of related experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • High level of initiative, displaying the ability to recognize, anticipate what needs to be done and propose enhancements
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with crossfunctional project teams & colleagues across Canada
