Description

We're in need of a skilled Cabinet Maker for our client based in Toronto. Their specialty lies in the Millwork and Construction field.

Responsibilities:

Understand architectural drawings and blueprints to make and set up custom cabinetry for both residential and commercial projects.
Use woodworking tools and machines to precisely cut, shape, and put together cabinet parts.
Set up cabinetry, trim, and millwork on site, ensuring correct fit and alignment based on project requirements.
Coordinate cabinet installations with contractors, designers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment at all times.
Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients to address any queries or issues related to cabinetry installation.
Keep the workshop and job site clean and organized.
Address and resolve any installation issues or discrepancies.
Offer guidance and assistance to junior team members when necessary.

Requirements:

Prior experience as a Cabinet Maker, particularly on construction projects.
Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural drawings and blueprints.
Strong woodworking skills and knowledge of cabinetry fabrication techniques.
Familiarity with various woodworking tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and dedication to quality craftsmanship.
Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Location: Toronto

Shift: 8 am to 5 pm (Mon - Fri)

Pay Rate:
$19/hr. to $25/hr. (based on experience)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
