Description

GFL Environmental is looking for a Customer Service/Logistics Coordinator for our Recycling Plant in North York, ON.

As a key member of GFL's team, you will facilitate and coordinate Internal Customer Service for Brokerage and Supply Chain and provide outstanding service to our customers/suppliers and sales team.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond efficiently and accurately to our sales team ensuring they are supported, and orders are followed up promptly
Request release numbers from customers & suppliers for movement of material from various locations within Ontario & the US
Enter and complete Worksheets in our new Cie Trade Program
Engage with freight carriers to get best rates within Canada & US
Provide Export documentation and pictures as required by customers
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested by management

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies:

2+ years of customer service, logistics or other related field
High School Diploma or GED
Able to implement solutions to general and specific customer/supplier concerns
Able to work in fast-paced environment, meet time deadlines and perform under pressure
Good organizational and record keeping skills
Basic Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
Good problem-solving ability
Excellent data entry skills
Previous experience in the recycling industry is considered an asset
