Bookkeeper - Rocky View County, Canada - Executive Residency by Best Western
Description
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets
- Process invoices, payments, and deposits.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial documents.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reports.
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing clients and paying vendors
- Maintain the general ledger and reconcile bank statements
- Manage payroll and employee benefits
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with billing and timekeeping systems, such as Timeslips or Clio, is a plus
Job Type:
Part-time
Part-time hours: 20 per week
Salary:
$21.00-$23.00 per hour

Education:
- Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
- QuickBooks: 3 years (preferred)
- Bookkeeping: 5 years (preferred)
