    What you'll do

    The Automotive Maintenance Category Business Analyst supports three diverse categories looking after automotive product lines, Wiper Blades, Windshield Washer Fluid, Auto Lighting. These are fast paced categories, so we are looking for an innovator that thrives in this type of environment. In addition, the role has a lot of touch points and requires someone who is organized and can manage a number of priorities at any given point.

    As a key member of our buying team you will be at the hub of our retail organization. The Category Business Analyst plays a direct role helping equip Canadians to live life to the fullest every day, by managing vendor processes, examining new and existing product lines, and performing analysis that better prepares us to meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will support the Category Business Manager in creating a compelling and relevant assortment by providing robust analysis and key insights that strengthen the brand with our customers and that deliver against the category level objectives and financial goals. You will inspire the Canadian Tire customer experience with your passion for continually improving processes and product lines, helping us be there for Canadians when they need us.

    What you bring

    • You have an undergraduate and/or post graduate degree in Business, Commerce, Retail Management or Data & Analytics. Previous experience in retail in an analytical role, is a big asset.

    • Demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence, and negotiate with colleagues, external and internal stakeholders or more senior business members
    • Strong presentation skills with demonstrated ability to adjust style and format as required to suit the audience
