Your role involves building strong relationships with existing customers while also venturing into uncharted territory to secure new business opportunities for TIP Group.
From making persuasive sales calls (some virtual) and visiting clients to presenting quotes and expanding our customer database, you'll work alongside our talented commercial team.
Together, we'll exceed customer expectations, boost brand awareness, and unleash the full potential of our extensive product and service offerings.
Get ready to make a lasting impact and drive our business to new heightsAs an Account Manager you'll be performing the following duties:
- Pursue and achieve a minimum of 100% of assigned sales targets, objectives and contract increases.
- Land accounts through careful customer approaches and thoughtful sales plans.
- Develop territory strategies and account plans independently to achieve lines of business solution revenue from complex multiyear deals that drive significate customer value.
- Ensure customer needs and commitments are met continuously.
- Communicate product knowledge to all customers to ensure customers are aware of all value add features.
- Prepare quotes using Salesforce scheduling followups to quotes on a timely basis.
- Negotiate for strategic contracts to secure mutual value, incorporating "churnresistant" aspects like multiyear noncancelable terms
- Document and ensure all sales activities are entered into the CRM system by the support team.
- Achieve sales targets, goals and objectives.
- Work with the Branch Team, including Inside Sales, to manage and develop accounts to grow revenue.
- Implement a prospecting strategy for acquiring new accounts using business tools like LinkedIn, and active participation in networking events.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an outside sales capacity.
- Experience in the transportation industry is an asset.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills including virtual meeting skills.
- Goal oriented and results driven.
- Ability to prioritize and multitask.
- Selfmotivated, able to work independently and achieve outcomes in a fastpaced environment.
- Work effectively in, and contribute to, a team environment.
- Bilingual (French and English) is an asset.
