Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Order and maintain levels of office supplies and consumables
  • Maintain all office equipment such as photocopier/printer
  • Manage the mail room including ensuring maintaining the postage meter, preparing and dropping off mail, distributing incoming mail/couriers, and preparing couriers
  • Arrange business lunches and assist with social committee functions
  • Manage the new hire and onboarding processes
  • Prepare documentation for Payroll including preparation and submission of Records of Employment
  • Update benefits information with the benefits carrier
  • Complete all employer related disability forms
  • Preparation and submission of all WSIB employer accident forms
  • Ensure completeness of training records
  • Attend safety meetings and support plant safety initiatives
  • Ensure plant is compliant with plant and government regulations in relation to COVID1
  • Ensure the front office, stationary room and kitchen are organized and neat

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
years Human Resources administration experience

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
  • Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
  • MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Knowledge of Kronos (Workforce Dimensions) and Oracle an asset
