Description
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Order and maintain levels of office supplies and consumables
- Maintain all office equipment such as photocopier/printer
- Manage the mail room including ensuring maintaining the postage meter, preparing and dropping off mail, distributing incoming mail/couriers, and preparing couriers
- Arrange business lunches and assist with social committee functions
- Manage the new hire and onboarding processes
- Prepare documentation for Payroll including preparation and submission of Records of Employment
- Update benefits information with the benefits carrier
- Complete all employer related disability forms
- Preparation and submission of all WSIB employer accident forms
- Ensure completeness of training records
- Attend safety meetings and support plant safety initiatives
- Ensure plant is compliant with plant and government regulations in relation to COVID1
- Ensure the front office, stationary room and kitchen are organized and neat
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
years Human Resources administration experience
- Degree or diploma in Human Resources or equivalent work experience
- Experience in a manufacturing environment an asset
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times
- MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Kronos (Workforce Dimensions) and Oracle an asset
