- ***Reporting to the Director of Student Support Services, the Early Learning Coordinator, must be an exemplary teacher with a proven ability to provide collaborative, student centered leadership related to the division's continuum of early childhood programming.

Job duties and responsibilities:
- consult with classroom teachers, administrators, the Director of Student Support Services and Senior Administration to support early learning programming within the division;
- monitor and support early learning programs to ensure their efficiency and effectiveness;
- coordinate assessments of students for placement into early learning programs;
- conduct observation of classroom environments and provide feedback to teachers in early learning programs;
- support and collaborate with the Director of Student Support Services to develop an annual budget and manage expenditures necessary for early learning programs; and
- collaborate with division and external specialists to ensure a continuum of supports is in place for students in early learning programs.

Education, certifications and experience:
- Bachelor of Education Degree hold or qualify for an Alberta teaching certificate
- school-based leadership experience is a prioritized asset
- understanding and experience using a collaborative response model would be considered an asset
