As a Sales Manager, End User, You Will:

  • Prospect and

Generate Leads:
Utilize your strong networking skills and market knowledge to identify and approach potential food retail clients.

Research and develop a target list of key decision-makers in the industry and proactively reach out to them to generate leads and opportunities.


  • Understand Client Needs: Engage with food retailers to gain a deep understanding of their business challenges and pain points. Conduct thorough needs assessments to identify areas where technology solutions can drive operational efficiency, enhance customer experience, optimize inventory management, or improve sales and marketing strategies.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Utilize your expertise in technology solutions to provide consultative advice and present customized proposals to clients. Clearly communicate the value proposition of the technology products and services, demonstrating how they can address specific pain points and deliver tangible results for their food retail business.
  • Build and

Manage Relationships:
Develop strong, long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner. Regularly follow up and maintain ongoing communication to ensure customer satisfaction, identify upselling opportunities, and secure repeat business.

  • Product Knowledge and Demonstrations: Stay uptodate with the latest trends and advancements in technology solutions for food retail. Acquire a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and conduct compelling product demonstrations to showcase the features, benefits, and ROI to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with

Internal Teams:

Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless implementation, delivery, and ongoing support of technology solutions.

Provide valuable feedback from clients to inform product improvements and identify opportunities for innovation.


Required Education, Experience & Skills:


  • College or University Degree plus 5+ years of experience or equal combination of years and experience.
  • Experience in B2B sales, preferably in the technology sector, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of the food retail industry, including an understanding of current market trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and deliver persuasive presentations.
  • Proven ability to identify customer needs, propose solutions, and negotiate contracts to close deals.
  • Selfmotivated and goaloriented, with a proactive approach to generating leads and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Technologically savvy, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and effectively communicate them to nontechnical stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and opportunities simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Authorization to work in Canada without sponsorship.

Preferred, Experience & Skills:


  • 10+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the technology sector, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Flexible Work Schedule - Remote Work Option and Core Hours
This role has the flexibility of remote work and a core hour schedule.

You can choose to flex your start and stop times given you are working during the core hours of 9:00am - 3:00pm (based on team headquarters time zone).

Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

This role also has a travel requirement of up to 1 week per quarter, predetermined by leadership in advance.
