ADULT RELIEF PROPRIETORS
Would you like to open your home to a male or female adult with developmental disabilities and make an incredible difference in his or her life?

The Company:

Parkland C.L.A.S.S.

is a family based organization, focused on increasing the quality of life for children and adults with developmental disabilities through individual choice, dignity and rights since 1963.

We support over 350 Individuals in Central Alberta and in The North West Territories.

The Position:

Providing a stable, supportive home environment, encourage positive development and personal growth; facilitate daily routine activities; encourage and assist engagement in meaningful community involvement; participate in the development and implementation of personalized goals; and promoting, empowering and supporting an Individual's wellness is all aspects of life.

Relief/Part Time Opportunities:

Remuneration is $125 tax free per 24hour period
You would bring an adult into your home 2 weekends (48hr period) per month; or as required or agreed upon.

Requirements:

Completed Grade 12 Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
Class 5 driver's license and own vehicle (with valid insurance & registration)
Acceptable Driver's Abstract
Acceptable Police Information Check & Child Intervention Record Check)
Private room for the individual
Nonsmoking, clean and safe living environment
Home must comply with required safety standards
