Centre for Sexuality is a community-based organization that provides access to non-judgmental sexual and reproductive health services and supports.

We are hiring a Data Entry and Administrative Assistant on a six (6) months contract to support our Youth Programs teams with data entry, managing bookings, and ensuring Educators are set up for success.


At a higher level, this position enables the Centre for Sexuality to evaluate the effectiveness of our programs, make improvements, and report to our donors; helping to keep funding in place for programs.


  • Perform highvolume, accurate, and efficient data entry tasks through transcribing source data in the required electronic format.
  • Maintain a filing system, confidentiality, and data security in line with company policies and regulations.
  • Effectively resolve datarelated issues and other administrative challenges.
  • Supports teams to collect data through survey management, including printing and preparing completed surveys for input.
  • Ensure data is entered and prepared for analysis ahead of key reporting deadlines.
  • Manage the Relationship and Sexual Health Educator booking calendar, ensuring requisite information and actions are sent to school contacts ahead of the booking.
  • Manage scheduling and rescheduling of Spring/Summer bookings.
  • Collaborate with team members and ensure Educators are aware of upcoming bookings and weekly responsibilities.
  • Supports the preparation of program materials (printing, laminating, preparing resources etc.)
  • Collaborate with internal teams to organize events, including awareness/fundraising events, board/advisory meetings, and social events.
  • When needed, attend meetings, record transcribes, and distribute accurate minutes.
  • Actively participate in agency and community collaborations, initiatives, and activities.
  • Participate in regular performance planning and review.
  • Support the Youth Program Manager with administrative tasks as needed.
  • Provide front desk coverage where necessary, supporting intake and responding to queries.

Qualifications and Attributes:


  • Minimum postsecondary diploma in Business Administration or a related field and/or related work experience.
  • Highly skilled with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, MS Teams, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, in a fastpaced, openspace work environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail, and a drive to complete tasks to a high quality.
  • Commitment to organizational values of social justice, selfdetermination, collaboration, and prevention.
  • Ability to lead with empathy and show genuine commitment to support all team members
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Demonstrate selfstarter qualities and effective workload management skills.
  • Policy adherence by following the company's policies and procedures re. tracking of time, requesting and scheduling time off, requesting program supplies, and claiming expenses.
  • Effective problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills.
  • Experience working in the nonprofit sector is an asset.

Additional details:


This is a full-time contract position for six (6) months working 35 hours per week based at our Calgary office and reporting to the Youth Programs Manager.

The salary range for the position is $23.00 to $25.00 per hour based on experience.
