What You'll Be Doing:


Under the management of the Regional Director and Executive Trust Officer, the Trust Administrator will report to the assigned Officer and assist with the administration of all trust accounts.

How You'll Succeed:

  • Client Engagement
  • Develop and maintain professional client relationships. Interact regularly with clients and beneficiaries and their lawyers, accountants, and financial planners to discuss account administration.

Collaboration/Project

  • Preliminary research for inquiries received; investigations; and participating in intra and interdepartmental meetings as requested; participation on committees encouraged. Annual Projects including preparing QI Documents for signature of STO/TO/ATO; preparing Annual Review Packages for files; updating CLIPs; ensuring AML documentation in file and on TOPS; and ensuring 104 tax elections are uptodate.

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Self Identify as First Nations, Metis or Inuit
  • You are a certified professional with successful complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and the Level One Trust Program offered by CSI.
  • You can demonstrate experience in. You have working and understand the terms of a Trust. You have detailed knowledge of accounting and securities administration sufficient to complete documentation and to communicate effectively with other departments.
  • You're passionate about people. You find meaning in relationships, and surround yourself with a diverse network of partner. You build trust through respect and authenticity.
