Senior Accountant - Vaughan, ON, Canada - Treasure Hill
Description
We are looking for a Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting to join our Accounting and Finance Team.Treasure Hill is an award-winning home builder of new single-detached family homes and townhomes in communities throughout the Greater Toronto Area.
Prepare year-end and stub working papers and tax returns for all projects and corporations;Submit reviewed year-end packages for review, follow up with the auditors for final statements and preparation of any tax returns that may need to be prepared;
Assist with year-end audits;
Calculate tax instalments to be remitted for corporations and advise project accountants;
Organize final statements and income tax information for participants; Support other accounting duties as needed.
3+ years of public accounting experience
~ Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
~ Proficient in financial software systems such as QuickBooks, PeopleSoft, Sage, etc.
~ If you are a highly motivated individual with a strong background in accounting and financial reporting, we encourage you to apply for this position
