As a 60-year-old provider of cushion packaging Republic Packaging is known for outstanding design, quality, and customer service Craig, which specializes in corrugated packaging, shares the same tremendous design, quality, and service capabilities as our parent.

In addition, we have a sister company, Impacte, which provides warehouse management services that can complement our packaging products or be a stand-alone service to provide solutions to our customer's problems.

With our eye toward growth, we are actively working to grow our sales by 50% over the next 3 years and enter new markets with innovative packaging and service offerings.

We are seeking an experienced Press Operator to join our team.

Role responsibilities:

Perform operatorlevel functions for a corrugated press including setup, adjustment, operation and injob maintenance.
Monitor the overall press function and performance.
Make and, where necessary, recommend adjustments to improve press efficiency.
Perform First Article and injob part inspections, correcting and escalating issues where appropriate.
Engage with facility maintenance on equipment operation, troubleshooting and operatorlevel preventative maintenance.
Maintain order and a safe work environment within the press area.
Lift up to 25Kg and stand for extended periods of time.

What you bring:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Operatorlevel experience with manufacturing equipment.
Experience in the corrugated industry is a plus.
Ability to react quickly and make adjustments to ensure consistency and quality.
Teamplayer with excellent communication skills.
