We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Agronomic Solutions Advisor at our Richardson Pioneer Zone 2 office located in Medicine Hat, AB.

Reporting to the Senior Director, the Regional Agronomic Solutions Advisor will support all zone based agronomy and digital ag activities.

This position will be the go-to technical agronomic solutions expert for their zone to support the business in driving sales and provide localized training.


Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate and implement agronomic and digital ag initiatives
  • Act as the technical expert to agronomic solutions staff at locations.
  • Lead and implement localized CropWatch trial strategy
  • Facilitate zone and corporate training to educate staff
  • Ensure alignment and partnership with key local suppliers
  • Certify 4R Acres for the zone

Qualifications:

  • A postsecondary education in Agriculture, AgBusiness or a related field preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Canadian agricultural industry
  • Must have a Professional Agrologist and/or Certified Crop Advisor designation
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with management and employees
  • A valid driver's licence is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated presentation skills
