Description

Browns Shoes is looking for a highly motivated Visual Merchandiser who is not afraid of challenges and who is ready to invest him/herself in the success of the company.

Under the leadership of the Senior Visual Manager you will be responsible for following up and coordinating all tasks associated with the Visual Merchandising of all Browns locations in the
Mississauga/Burlington Ontario area.

Working under the guidance of the Visual Merchandising Manager or Senior Visual Merchandiser.

You will need to achieve the following:

Knowledgeable understanding of visual standards and instructions
Execute detailed weekly visual instructions as per visual standards.
Ensures walls are structured as per required sequence
Structures floor fixtures with product from appropriate grids
Sets up outposts, double exposures & product launches as per instructions
Sets up signage or banners as per instructions
Ensures instore displays are presentable and tidy
Creates eye catching windows with required product listed in instructions
Ensures proper maintenance and cleanliness of interior/exterior windows and window displays.
Ensures proper maintenance and cleanliness of visual supplies and signage.

Store front and back store

Verifies that bestsellers are on sale racks
Assists in store openings
Photographs and submits daily live photos to VMM for approval

Visual Merchandisers are encouraged to think outside the box with their own creativity, ideas and learn to interact with store management for catered ideas of improvement towards a store.

Above duties as mentioned during training period.
Learn to efficiently manage time
Begin to interact with store management to personalize visual instructions based on store type (approval by VMM)
Helps trains and guide newhire Assistant VMs or VMs in training
Visual standards
How to read / understand / execute visual instructions
Begins to travel to exterior stores as needed
Consistently brainstorming for creative ideas.
Reports any instore store deficiencies to their VMM (lighting, broken props or fixtures, tv screens, frames etc.)
