Description

1LDO:

As the first course in leadership development, each student will undergo a battery of leadership self-awareness assessments, receive individualized feedback on the assessments, submit a reflection on assessment outcome, and submit a personalized leadership development plan.

Prerequisite(s): Registration in Level I of the Integrated Business and Humanities Program

Monday 12:30-2:30pm and Wednesday 12:30-1:30pm


2LDO:
This course builds upon the foundation of leadership awareness gained in IBH 1LD0. In 2LD0, students will take an outward focus by understanding how their leadership impacts others. They will receive feedback from peers regarding factors such as status, power and leadership emergence. Students will use this understanding to update their leadership development plans supported by small group workshops and 1:1 coaching.

Wage Rate*:

The DeGroote School of Business offers a pay rate commensurate with qualifications and related teaching experience in a range from $8,600 to $9,750.

The exact rate of pay is determined at the sole discretion of the employment supervisor, according to standard evaluation criteria.

a) The employee may be eligible to receive supplemented fees in accordance with Schedule C of the Collective Agreement.

The actual rate of pay when in excess of the base rate of pay is deemed to include any supplemented fees owing, to the extent of the excess amount.

If the actual rate of pay is less than the sum of the base rate of pay and the supplemented fees owing, then the employee shall receive the difference.
