We are currently seeking competent individuals to fulfill the role of
Technical Business Analyst to join our dynamic team to work at our client, one of the major banks.


Job Type:
Contract

Term: 6 months and extendable to longer term


Responsibility:


  • Analyse the existing database data structure, relationship, values for each table
  • Identify all the existing batch jobs
  • Document all above
    data, mapping, relationships, and business logic:
  • Run SQL often at the database to verify data, analyse data and collect data
  • Working with technology and business stakeholders
  • Review the documents with technical teams and end users
  • Ability to multitask, proactively coordinate with all stakeholders, meet deadlines, perform under pressure, and change priorities as needed.

Must have skills:

-
7+ years of experience as a technical BA in
enterprise environmental:


  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with
    data analysis, data mapping, data consumption, data structure, and business logic:
  • Strong data driven analysis knowledge, ability to write/run queries in
    SQL:
  • Great
    communications skills to host meetings by working with different technical & non-technical stakeholders to collect, identify and verify the requirements.
  • Very strong
    document skills for business Logical and mapping rule from source data to destination tables

Nice to have skills:


  • Working experience with
    TSYS is a great asset
  • Working experience related to
    database migration is preferred (eg. DB2 on Mainframe)

Bank / financial related working experience is preferred.


Degrees or certifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in a Computer Science or Software Engineer is preferred

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
$80.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Technical BA: 7 years (required)
  • Data mapping: 5 years (required)

Hybrid remote in Toronto, ON
