Job Description:

What You'll Be Doing

As the Consultant, Governance & Controls, you will report to the Executive Director, Governance and Reporting, Governance and Controls. You'll be responsible for the design, development and delivery of ongoing SBU and LOB analytics reports and dashboards.

You will work with experts in the team to create effective tables, charts and graphs to enhance day-to-day data analysis.

You will also support the extraction/manipulation/analysis of operational data to identify opportunities for process optimization or automation.

This role operates within a normal office environment with little exposure to adverse working conditions.

How You'll Succeed

  • Process Optimization
  • Gather and analyze operational risk metric data relevant to and impacting the SBU, and conduct moderate to difficult information/data analysis. Work with partners (internal & external) to identify, validate and reconcile various risk data sources. Identify opportunities for process improvements and automate new and existing reports in support of risk mitigation duties.


  • Reporting

  • Assist the group's reporting requirements and the enhancement of reporting for the Governance & Controls team such as various Management reports (KYC, project portfolio dashboard, etc.) that often utilize macros, regulatory report inventory, as well as centralize and automate existing reports.
Who You Are

  • You can demonstrate end to end development experience with Tableau, or similar tool, designing dashboards / decision enablement tools, creating, managing and maintaining Tableau Desktop and Server platforms.
  • You give meaning to data. You enjoy investigating complex problems, and making sense of information. You're confident in your ability to communicate detailed information in an impactful way
  • You have experience supporting Commercial Banking or Wealth Management lines of business or other equivalent financial institutions.
