    Description
    The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is the largest school board in

    Eastern Ontario and offers students and parents a world of choice for learning.

    team at Glen Cairn Public School .

    Eligibility List

    This posting is open to all Occasional Teachers who DO NOT already have a part time contract, prior to September 1, 2024. Any OT's who were awarded a contract for September 1, 2024, are considered an OT until August 31, 2024, and must apply to List 2B contracts as an OT applicant.

    If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you are encouraged to apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for permanent contracts is as follows: current internal permanent elementary contract teacher applicants, current elementary occasional teacher applicants, and then qualified external applicants.

    French language freeze continues to be in effect. Therefore, if you accept any teaching percentage of French contract, you may only be

    considered for other French contract positions.

    Required OCT Divisional Qualifications: Intermediate

    Required OCT Additional Qualifications: Spec Ed 2

    Additional Qualifications, Experience, or Knowledge that would be an asset to this Position: Math qualifications and working in a specialized program, Collaborative Problem Solving, SEL Programming, intermediate teaching experience, BMS Training and implementation of strategies all assets
