What You'll Be Doing
Provide leadership and direction to ensure adherence to strategic approach and manage releases and/or projects from end-to-end to ensure Release Management Standards are met and processes followed to secure the best possible outcome.
How You'll Succeed
- Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
- Lead and drive continuous improvements towards Enterprise and industry standardization in Release and Change management processes
- Innovate to raise the bar on release management competencies through automation, modern technology and best practices
- Build and maintain strong, trusted working relationships within IT&S to evolve the release management discipline and competency. Adopt and implement modern approaches that support agile software development release cadence.
- Provide SME support to stakeholders to investigate and resolve complex problems and conflicts impacting releases and changes. Work closely with the other Release Management, Test Environment, Development and Quality Assurance teams.
- Understand how the Bank's risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in daytoday activities and decisions.
- Champion a highperformance environment and contributes to an inclusive work environment.
- Work in collaboration with various teams to combine all the individual teamwork into a release. Manage risks and work with the team to resolve issues that affect release scope, schedule and quality.
- Monitor progress and work with the team to ensure release is delivered on time complying with all bank requirements such as gating. Adopt and implement modern approaches that support software development release management and implementation cadence.
- Constantly be looking for process and organizational improvements that increase efficiency and raise quality. Utilize your communication skills to effectively collaborate and influence peers and development teams to improve existing processes and bring better practices and tools onboard
- Support Project teams on delivery both from a project and overall release perspective, working with multiple teams within multiple delivery platforms.
- Provide consulting or advisory services, which are consistent with our role to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes while maintaining objectivity and independence.

- You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, and/or a related field of study. It's an asset if you have your PMP Designation.
- You can demonstrate experience in Project Management methodology, principles, and tools, within a minimum of 5 years experience in Release Management. It's an asset if you have experience with Agile methodologies, Program/Portfolio Management, JIRA, Confluence, and knowledge of the Software Delivery Life Cycle (SDLC). It's an asset if you have previous work experience managing implementation of releases
