Mettler Toledo is seeking to hire a Laboratory Field Service Technician for Mississauga and surrounding areas. In this role, you will perform installations, preventive maintenance, certifications, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing Mettler Toledo laboratory equipment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Troubleshoots and repairs all Mettler Toledo products within the Business Group.
- Performs system and equipment installations, calibrations and preventative maintenance duties as
- Ensures customer uptime requirements are met and that assigned PM work is completed on time.
- Reviews and signs off on all completed assignments and applicable documentation.
- Assists and cooperates with Service Support Representatives whenever necessary.
- Leads the efforts in promoting and selling service products.
- Submits Leads and assists in effort to modernize, upgrade and convert customer existing equipment).
- Ensures vehicle service and maintenance requirements are met.
- Submits all paperwork in a timely and professional manner, maintains a close professional relationship with
- All other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 2year college diploma or degree in Engineering, Electronics, Instrumentation, Technology or Computer Science. or equivalent education and experience in a technical support role, technical troubleshooting or technical installation in industrial electronics, or electromechanical technology industry
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Must have a valid driver's license and may require a DZ class license.
- Must be available to work flexible hours.
- Ability to travel within Canada and the U.S.
