Reporting to the Manager, transactional data management, the Customer Service Lead will be primarily managing accurately and efficiently the fertilizer orders and shipment transactions of the Agromart Group of Companies in Ontario and the Maritimes through the overall facilitation of processing sales orders and coordinating all fertilizer transactions.

Successful implementation of this role will result in high customer satisfaction and optimized efficiencies in administrative procedures.


THE CHALLENGES WE OFFER
Excellence in Customer Service and Order processing (90%)

  • Accurately and efficiently manage sales orders for fertilizer products, shipping transactions and invoicing by handling all required transactional activities;
  • Management of the fertilizer product offer process, network communication, compilation of offers, invoicing and order management;
  • Maintain updated status of orders ensuring the clear line of sight on the sales position of the Group for Procurement Manager and for Supply Chain to accurately ensure product placement needs are met;
  • Coordinate shipments of fertilizer products to partners to ensure product availability for customer needs by generating and requesting release numbers to cover orders while mitigating the risk of storage costs and potential product shortages;
  • Provide excellent customer service to various internal and external stakeholders as the main point of contact and support customers in their inquiries effectively and in a timely manner;
  • Management of customer invoicing and prepayments, manually processing those that present issues and making necessary corrections;
  • Maintain and Distribute fertilizer price lists weekly or as required;
  • Maintain system reports for customers;
  • Support fertilizer forecasts activities with the team and with the purchasing group;
  • Communicate with Purchasing Manager, Supply Chain Coordinator, Agromart Partners, Terminal Staff to ensure reliable and timely supply of products to customers.
Support & ERP Processes (10%)

  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and harmonization relating but not limited to process implementations, daily work instruction, procedure development, governance and Adhoc projects as assigned;
  • Report system issues and assisting IT with testing and/or meetings for resolution;
  • Contribute as necessary to support other purchasing group functions as priorities for the business evolve;
**This position requires work extended hours in peak periods, including weekends.


YOU FIT THE FOLLOWING PROFILE

  • You have a College or University Diploma in a Business/Sales/Logistics related field, combined with relevant experience of a minimum of 3 years in a similar role;
  • You possess working experience in the area of customer service and have knowledge of ERP system;
  • You demonstrate excellent customer service, interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills;
  • You are able to communicate efficiently and effectively at all levels of the organization while continuously maintaining a high degree of professionalism when dealing with stakeholders;
  • You show strong attention to detail and are able to complete tasks with a high degree to accuracy;
  • You can work effectively in a teamoriented and deadlinedriven environment;
  • You are highly adaptable and autonomous;
  • You have strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work independently with minimum supervision;
  • You are fluent in English, oral and written (French is an asset);
  • You have strong computer skills, Excel (Vlookup & Pivot), MS Office, Sharepoint;
  • You possess knowledge of Microsoft Navision, an asset.
