Preferred Skills:


  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office/Google
  • Strong communication skills, especially written
  • Excellent collaboration, problem solving and teamwork skills
  • Flexible and selfmotivated
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, PowerBI, dashboarding or website design an asset
  • Awareness of Continuous Improvement, Lean and Six Sigma is an asset

Activities:


  • Assist in the governance of the Systematic CI Framework program, including quarterly internal reviews and semiannual site assessments.
  • Manage CI Recognition programs, including coordinating monthly Best of Site, quarterly Best of Region and semiannual global Best of Best recognition rewards and associated communications.
  • Coordinate the publication of the quarterly CI Newsletter, including content generation, recognition summaries and other updates.
  • Support appropriate CI reviews, including monthly regional and site meetings.
  • Oversee monthly CI metric reporting.
  • Assist with maintenance and enhancements of the global CI website.
  • Assist with maintenance and enhancements of the Operations Central repository.
  • Potential to participate in process improvement based CI workshops or projects.
  • Potential to assist in the creation and delivery of training materials.

Physical Demands:


  • Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
  • Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data
  • Repetitive manual movements are frequently required (e.g. data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc).
