We are currently hiring a
Retail & Experience Supervisor to join our
Tinhorn Creek Vineyards team. Tinhorn Creek Vineyards in Oliver, BC is one of the Okanagan's most innovative and environmentally sustainable estate wineries with an extensive health and safety program.


the winery...


We are a 450-ton winery in the heart of the South Okanagan wine region, with vineyards on both the Golden Mile Bench and the Black Sage Bench.

We produce roughly 50:50 white and red, and our two unique vineyard sites allow us to grow both Bordeaux and Burgundy varietals in addition to a dash of Syrah and Gewurztraminer.

We employ a basic and natural wine making approach and have a small but skilled team you would enjoy working with.

  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to multitask while guiding a team
  • A "Can Do" attitude and enjoy working in a busy seated tasting environment
  • An understanding of how to provide bestinclass service for guests and exceed sales targets
  • Ability to be a brand ambassador; you love to entertain others in a fun and engaging way
  • Knowledge of Point of Sale software (winery retail software like WineDirect an asset but not required)
  • Serving It Right certified and 1+ years of experience in a similar customer environment

  • Consistently demonstrating service excellence to all visitors resulting in memorable guest experiences while inspiring a team of Sales Associates to do the same
  • Supporting the drive for higher sales and support Sales Associates to sell Wine Club memberships
  • Supporting the Manager with sales performance tracking and team training of retail functions within the wine shop
  • Managing all customer inquiries completely, appropriately, and in a consistently positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner
  • Sharing wine and viticultural knowledge in a fun and engaging way with customers and own team
  • Being a positive wine educator and brand ambassador, as well as inspiring our team of Sales Associates conveying a consistent and positive brand story
  • Financial and inventory management
  • Maximizing revenue per customer through nonwine merchandising of the tasting room
  • Supporting onsite events and instore promotions
**Incumbents for these roles must be a minimum of 19 years of age and in possession of a valid "Serve it Right" certification.
