Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Printed circuit board Throughhole (TH) Assembly and Surface Mount Technology (SMT) soldering;
- Use of basic assembly tools soldering iron, pliers, power screwdrivers, dispensers, ultrasonic welders etc.
- Provide general assistance as required in production
- Antistatic practices are to be followed at all times;
- All activities are to be performed to product build instructions including ISO 9000 practices.
Education and Required Skills
- College level training in Electronic Assembly & Soldering or proven job experience equivalent.
- Experience within an ESD controlled assembly environment, preference given to direct experience working with SMT components
- Good working knowledge of tools soldering iron, pliers, power screwdrivers, dispensers, ultrasonic welders etc.
- Experience working with formal procedures and supporting documents
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Able to lift normal consumable supplies associated with the processes
- Excellent visual acuity and dexterity for soldering.
Working Conditions:
Minimum 40.0 working hours per week - will require extra hours during month end and quarterly reporting periods and/or as the business dictates.
