We are partnering with an industry leader in the parking space as we are seeking a Data Scientist on a permanent basis.

This role is integral to the Business Intelligence and Revenue Management Team at an Airport. The role is responsible for maintaining existing and implementing new dynamic data integrations and automation as required. Another key element is maintaining our advanced analytical models including advanced predictive models and classification/clustering models. You will also gather requirements for advanced analysis and build reports/dashboards to visualize and deliver these insights.

In this role, you will:

Develop and maintain analytical Powerbi dashboards driven from insights learned to date
Responsible for data monitoring, manipulation, and the maintenance of the data flow into dashboards and data models current and future planned

Responsible for demand forecasting that feeds into dynamic pricing tools and other analytics reports.
Prepare projections of revenue and bookings based on numerous variables and data assumptions, in collaboration with GTAA management and clients.
Develop and maintain detailed occupancy demand which feeds into dynamic pricing tools. Assisting the optimization of product sales at the right price, and at the right time for the right customers.
Explore and examine data from multiple sources to identify a correlation to demand at the airport.
Translate complex analytical results into usable business initiatives. Present these findings to the GTAA in clear and easytounderstand language.
Normalise, cleanse and verify the integrity of all data used for analysis and reporting.
Expected to perform other duties as may be assigned by the bimanager at GTAA.
Duties may vary from time to time without changing the general character of the post or the level of responsibility entailed

The ideal profile is

Education in Data Analytics, Computer Scientist, or similar such as business analytics, mathematics, statistics, operational research, physical or computer science
Min 2 years of Data Scientist experience (emphasis on working with large amounts of data and building dashboards)
Ability to identify and define complex problems, and assess appropriate analytical approaches from options developed logically
Data Modelling and analytical skills: R, Python, Excel, and comfortable handling and analyzing large data sets
Experience using Power Bi / Tableau
Report Authoring, Data Cleansing, normalization
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills
Plan and organize complex work stream, manage materials/technology effectively to best deliver value and quality to the client
Preferable experience using IBM SPSS, Spark, IBM Cognos TM1, or OLAP tool experience. Enterprise Miner, Open-Source Languages
Demonstrate a collaborative work approach and support their client colleagues to work together to achieve success
