Primary Objective of the Position:


The successful applicant will provide direction to the warehouse staff and maintain the on-time performance of all flights in the Cargojet Network.


Essential Position Functions:


  • Ensure safe and secure operations, in accordance with the health, safety, security and all government statutory requirements.
  • Communicate with customers and staff in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide accurate information to Management and Cargo Movement Control.
  • Maintain and enforce company procedures relating to the workplace (attendance, uniforms, equipment operation, safety).
  • Delegate responsibilities of Warehouse activities & oversee performance and productivity.
  • Ability to collaborate with peers, internal partners and external customers to offer them an excellent customer service journey.
  • Provide direction to lead hands, Coordinators and ground staff in order to maintain ontime performance of all flight and truck departures.
  • Create a positive customer experience while meeting Customer and company standards pertaining to quality of work performance.
  • Provide leadership, motivation and direction to staff, as well as train and develop new staff.
  • Maintain & improve operations by suggesting time/cost saving ideas and operational strategies.
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma, Post-Secondary education in an Aviation related of Management program would be an asset.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the air cargo industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be detailoriented and have good organizational skills.
  • Must be reliable and have strong work ethic.
  • Ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's license.
  • Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC).
