Position Summary
Main Duties

  • Prepare commercial real estate files from opening to reporting
  • Process purchase transactions including preparation of mortgages, refinancing and supplemental documents, interim and final reports
  • Process sale transactions including statements of adjustments, trust letters and documents to meeting closing date
  • Maintain files, diarize critical deadlines
  • Prepare client accounts and correspondence
  • Communicate with realtors, financial institutions, clients and other law firms regarding all aspects of transactions
  • Schedule client appointments
  • Other duties as required
Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of related work experience in residential or commercial conveyancing required.
  • Related education would be an asset
  • Experience with Esilaw 360 is desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
