  • You have a genuine interest in home furnishings and a passion for sales management together with the right attitude to make things happen and influence in a multichannel retail structure.
  • You are a confident decisionmaker who is able to collaborate across functions, communicate effectively, delegate when necessary and lead business through people.
  • You have minimum of 3 years' experience leading and managing a team preferably acquired in customer service or a fastpaced retail environment.
  • You have a strong ability to set budgets, implement action plans and follow up on defined goals. Also, your approach to leadership is based on performing and delivering while learning and developing.
  • You can effortlessly manage multiple competing priorities and organize your work and the work of others to make the most efficient use of time available.
  • You have the necessary expertise to work with changing business needs and priorities that require adaptation, flexibility and a thorough understanding of life at home in your primary market area.
  • You are motivated to succeed in a dynamic, customerfocused retail environment and are eager to continuously optimize sales, create a vital daily commercial drive and provide a day out for the whole family.
A day in your life with us

  • Provide a consistent, seamless positive customer experience through all channels by ensuring that your department is always striving to fulfil the three IKEA customer motivators: "Is it worth it?", "Can I trust IKEA", "Is there something for me?
  • Ensure you have the right number of competent coworkers in the right place at the right time and that they are fully capable and available to actively serve and assist customers.
  • Contribute in delivering and implementing the store commercial action plan; taking input from the team and the sales manager to ensure the department supports the achievement of the defined goals, maximizes sales and generates sustained longterm profitability.
  • Analyze the qualitative performance of the store using IKEA research tools to improve the IKEA mechanical sales system and easy buying process across all channels.
  • Motivate and develop team members by defining clear objectives, work expectations and conducting followups. Assist in building competent and highperforming teams and leaders who inspire each employee and empower them to value and recognize their contribution.
  • Know your local market potential and work with your team and other functions to make sure that the store is locally relevant throughout the different sales channels.
  • Manage and control operating costs through using best practices and following up on financial goals, KPI's, and act on deviations.
  • Identify and develop the many talents within the department to ensure succession planning for future key roles and understand IKEA's social and environmental commitments and how you can help implementing them in daytoday operations.
