- Conduct maintenance, repairs, and modifications to aircraft using approved tools, materials and manuals
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and rectify aircraft system defects
- Ensure the Company's safety standards are adhered to at all times
- Verify parts installed onto the aircraft are properly certified, prior to installation
- Oversee the work of apprentices and providing training/guidance in order for them to become AME's
- Understand and comply with all regulatory requirements and Company policies, manuals, and documentation requirements in accordance with Airworthiness Certification Authority
- Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer M2 rated License
- Successful completion of required company indoctrination, general and recurrent training
- A minimum of 6 months experience within the last 24 months working on M1 & M2 aircraft of which at least 3 months is working on M2 aircraft
- Must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident or show proof of right to work in Canada

Hours of Work:
Permanent Full-Time**Reporting to the Maintenance Manager or designate, the individual is responsible for the maintenance of Air North, Yukon's Airline's aircraft and aircraft equipment in a safe and effective manner including: servicing, inspecting, repairing and monitoring of aircraft to ensure airworthiness standards are met.
