Con-Tech is looking for construction professionals that have experience with concrete, General carpentry and working as a member of a team


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Reading blueprints
  • Prepare, erect and remove structural formwork for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and beams.
  • Build, erect and align forms for various concrete structures and pier foundations utilizing barpanelled concrete forming systems.
  • Install rebar and tie rebar.
  • Dismantle concrete forms.
  • Provide assistance to other workers and foreman as necessary.
  • Perform the setting of anchor bolts for foundations.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed

Required Skills:


  • Previous concrete formwork experience is required
  • Ability to work long hours (10+ hour days) outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Physical able to perform heavy manual tasks, including lifting, shoveling, moving heavy materials up to 50lbs
  • Working understanding of site hazard assessments and able to complete daily safety documentation in an accurate and timely manner
  • Be fit for duty and prepared for work each day
  • Must be willing to work in remote job locations
  • Positive attitude / team player
  • Strong communication / listening skills and ability to follow direction

  • Able to perform in a fastpaced environment
  • Continuously changing work tasks
  • Ability to lift and work with materials weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions and environments

Salary:
$20.00-$37.00 per hour
