Merchandiser

In this role as a Danone Merchandiser on the Acosta Reset Team, you will have the opportunity to support our client's merchandising initiatives and enhance relationships with Store and Department Managers by delivering best-in-class merchandising services.

This is a permanent part time position, merchandisers working on the Danone program can expect to consistently work 1-2 days per week (8 hour days), and supplement these hours (up to 40) with work on various other projects on the Reset Team.

Duties

Always sign into visitor logbook and make contact with Dairy Manager prior to starting work.
Build relationships with Regional Danone Representative (RDS) & instore decision makers.
Stock product on displays and shelves.
Build displays and installing POS when necessary.
To visit all requested stores on the specific day agreed upon time per schedule provided.

minutes average in-store time (dependent on area).

Fill out and submit call reports after each visit.
List of stores visited.
Detail of activity performed.
Identify potential threats or opportunities.
If unable to work the agreed upon schedule, please reach out to your District Manager and Danone RDS to notify them immediately.
Meet KPI of 40 cases per hour during in every visit. If KPI not met, share feedback with Danone RDS.

Qualifications:

General Requirement

1+ Year Merchandising Experience Grocery merchandising experience (preferred but not essential, any merchandising related experience will be considered)
Intermediate level and above English reading comprehension.
Strong attention to detail, specifically understanding and executing changes to a planogram.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multitask, and meet deadlines.
Proactively identify issues and show initiative in solving problems.
Energetic, independent, and enthusiastic.
Flexible and adaptable with strong problemsolving capabilities.
Strong communication skills (written and oral) with timely responses during work days.

Other Requirements

Ability to work Monday-Friday 8:
00am-4:
00pm time frame, schedule to be based on needs of client.

The ability to lift up to 3040lbs, role can be physically demanding at times.
Valid driver's license, access to the exclusive use of a reliable vehicle.
Comfortable travelling up to 160kms from your region. (Including paid commute time + expenses)
Computer savvy with access to a PC Computer and internet and the ability to take and submit photos of your work.
Comfortable working in dairy chillers/coolers.
