Job Profile:


Our New Equipment Build Technicians work in a modern, clean, bright shop environment with full OHC coverage to fit, align, assemble, commission, test and troubleshoot equipment within the fabrication group.

Custom designed equipment builds very and can range from 50-ton capacity crawler cranes, 45 ton capacity truck mount cranes, track or truck mount air or air/auger surface drilling equipment, new trailers and so on.


Wage:
$38-$42/hour

Job Duties:


  • Read prints, submit orders for materials, and plan daily tasks
  • Layout and plan component locations
  • Crimp and clean hydraulic hose assemblies
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair mechanical and hydraulic systems
  • Commission new equipment including setting hydraulic pressure and flow
  • Operate forklift, overhead crane, laser level, and heavy shop tools as needed.

Qualifications:


  • Registered Apprentice/Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician; an asset
  • Experience with on and offroad Equipment manufacturing
  • Hydraulic system service, install and repair experience, an asset.
  • Strong work ethic, eager for knowledge and technical experience
  • Must supply own hand and air tools some special tooling provided.
